These are public open spaces managed by the Parish Council. The Recreation Ground was provided to the Village through the 1853 South Stoke Enclosure Award and is registered as a Town & Village Green. The Folly Field was bought by the Council in 1980 for use as a recreation space, and later registered as a Village Green in 2009.
